Cooking time: 10 minutes
Refrigerating time: 1 hour
Serves: 4
Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings
- 200 g Nai Miris Hot Sauce
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 100 g regular flour
- 1 tsp cornflour
- A little vinegar
- Salt and pepper
- A pinch of sugar
- Oil for frying
Marinate and Fry the Wings
- Using a sharp knife, separate the wings at the joints and remove the wingtips.
- Place the wings in a bowl and season with salt and pepper.
- Add the flour, chili powder, and 1 tsp of the paprika. Mix until the wings are evenly coated.
- Refrigerate the wings for about 1 hour.
- Fry the wings in oil for about 10 minutes, until golden brown, crispy, and fully cooked. Transfer them to a paper towel to drain the excess oil.
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Stir in the remaining ½ tsp paprika, garlic powder, sugar, pepper, and Nai Miris Hot Sauce.
- Add the cornflour and a small amount of vinegar. Stir well to avoid lumps.
- Cook over low heat for around 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Place the fried wings in a clean skillet or large bowl. Pour the sauce over them and toss until every wing is coated.
Serving Tip
Serve the wings fresh with a cool dip, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing, to balance the heat. For your next batch, pick up Nai Miris Hot Sauce from BuyMiris.
