Juicy beef burger patties get extra depth and heat from Level Dynamite, with all your favourite burger toppings.
Ingredients
- 500g lean ground beef (80/20 fat ratio recommended)
- 2 tbsp Level Dynamite Hot Sauce
- 1 small onion, finely grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Method
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Level Dynamite Hot Sauce, grated onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and parsley.
-
Gently mix until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated. Avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.
-
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape into burger patties about 2cm thick. Press a slight indentation into the center of each patty to help them cook evenly.
-
Refrigerate the patties for 20–30 minutes to help them hold their shape.
-
Heat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
-
Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred level of doneness.
-
If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the final minute of cooking and cover briefly to melt.
-
Assemble the burgers with toasted buns, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayonnaise or aioli, and an extra drizzle of Level Dynamite Hot Sauce.
