Ingredients
- 2 white fish fillets (sea bass, snapper, or tilapia)
- 2 tbsp Miris by Islandmom Level Lite Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp honey (optional, for a subtle glaze)
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp dried parsley or mixed herbs
- Lemon slices for garnish
- Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped
To Serve
- Steamed vegetables
- Roasted baby potatoes or garlic rice
- Fresh garden salad
Method
-
Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
-
In a small bowl, combine the Level Lite Hot Sauce, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, honey, paprika, salt, black pepper, and herbs.
-
Pat the fish fillets dry and place them in a lightly greased baking dish.
-
Generously coat both sides of the fish with the prepared marinade. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes for the flavours to absorb.
-
Arrange lemon slices over the fish.
-
Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
-
For a lightly caramelized finish, broil for an additional 2 minutes.
-
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or coriander and serve immediately with roasted vegetables, potatoes, or rice.
