Ingredients

  • 2 white fish fillets (sea bass, snapper, or tilapia)
  • 2 tbsp Miris by Islandmom Level Lite Hot Sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp honey (optional, for a subtle glaze)
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or mixed herbs
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Fresh parsley or coriander, chopped

To Serve

  • Steamed vegetables
  • Roasted baby potatoes or garlic rice
  • Fresh garden salad

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. In a small bowl, combine the Level Lite Hot Sauce, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, honey, paprika, salt, black pepper, and herbs.

  3. Pat the fish fillets dry and place them in a lightly greased baking dish.

  4. Generously coat both sides of the fish with the prepared marinade. Let it rest for 15–20 minutes for the flavours to absorb.

  5. Arrange lemon slices over the fish.

  6. Bake for 15–18 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

  7. For a lightly caramelized finish, broil for an additional 2 minutes.

  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or coriander and serve immediately with roasted vegetables, potatoes, or rice.
